Ah, accessories… all the little stuff that ends up in your case, or your music portfolio. Also, the things that collect on your desk, and possibly in your stand partner's case or left behind in a practice room. These include mutes (we've got em), shoulder rests (we carry Kun rests), polish cloths (yup), strings, peg dope, fine tuners, tail-guts, etc. As a rule, if you need it to play better, we can help you out. If you want a miniature blown glass statuette of a fiddler to put on your mantle, or a springy pencil holder for your stand, we don't have it.

Protecting your instrument in dry, winter weather:
|
| If you live in a colder climate, during the winter months — or whenever the furnace is running — it is important to add humidity to your case. This will not only make your instrument sound better, but will help to protect it against drying out and cracking or opening up. It is easy to put a Humitron, Dampit or other tube-type humidifier in the F-hole. Make a simple and free humidifier for the case from a 35-mm film container with 4-5 holes punched into it. Place a small sponge inside, soak it in water and put the lid on. For 'Cellists, we suggest several Tube-type humidifiers and several film-cans and a tightly sealed case for maximum protection. |
